What is a cryptogram?
Cryptograms are text based games. Every letter in the alphabet is substituted for another. This is not a shift encryption. It’s a random encryption. So as an example: “prbbw” may be “hello”.
No, if you abandon a gave it will be discarded and no score will be given.
If an incorrect letter is input, you can simply select it and input the new/correct letter. Any existing "entries" can be replaced.
Join the Cryptogram support server, and post the bug in #bug-report channel.
No, games are locked to whatever DM or channel they were started in. You can however start new games in other servers/DMs.
A Free Play game is not timed and you are able to use unlimited checks & hints.

A Competitive game is timed and you have limited checks & hints.
How do you play?
Cryptogram is played using your mouse a keyboard. You can also exclusively play with just a keyboard.

To play, you will need to guess the letters in the cipher. You can do this by clicking on the letter in the cipher and typing the letter you think it is.

For example, if you think the letter ‘q’ in the cipher is actually the letter ‘a’, then select any slot for the letter ‘q’ and type ‘a’.

You can also use the "Hint" button to get a free letter BUT if you use the "hint" button you will break your streak.
Yes, you can abandon your current game to start a new one.

Abandoned games will not contribute to your score and will NOT display on the leaderboard
Yes, anyone who joins the voice channel can spectate the puzzle you are working on.

Note: Non-host players do not get credit or scored for the puzzle being solved.
Yes! Premium users are able to suggest new quotes and puzzles that can be reviewed and added.

Note: that suggestions are not guaranteed to be accepted.
